    1/26/12, Thurs., 4:15 p.m.Hello: Today, I attended the Special meeting of the Northern Mariana Islands Retirement Fund (NMIRF) Board of Trustees. Retiree, Paz Younis, also attended.     From Donna to Noel – To Clarify NMIRF Attorneys & Staff

    Dear Noel: Christopher Timmons and Carolyn Kern are IN-HOUSE ATTORNEYS hired on a contract basis for salaries of about $60-65,000 and work daily at the Fund. Viola Alepuyo and Brad Huesman are BOARD ATTORNEYS hired on contract not to exceed a certain amount and paid on an hourly basis. I cannot say for sure how much the Board Attorneys make. Only two items were on the agenda, Post P.L. 17-51 (Derivative Lawsuit Act) and Post P.L. 17-55 (FY2012 Budget Act).
