Larry Cabrera laments lawmakers’ inaction on retirees’ proposal
Dear CRA Chairman Larry Cabrera: I sympathized with you for the long-term solution you offer the legislature to create “new” Retirement Fund Commission. As one concern retiree, I do not disagree with you to such an oversight commission. Mr. Chairman, I suggest if you could act on the “overdue and pressing matter for the hope of survival of the Retirement Fund”. As a matter of priority, the $300+ million enforcement of the judgment is “very critical” to add an “inch” to the Fund’s life. There is an available tools being offered by “legal experts” that are annuitants of the Fund with vesting interest on it. “Support the Roe/Doe petition, please Mr. Chairman to enforce the judgment in the federal court”. You may disagree with me but law experts had been banging the table for over 3-years now, “the federal judge has the unique power to enforce judgment that is NOT available in the state court”. Mr. Chairman, I admonish you to take charge in the enforcement of the long overdue judgment. We have such been badly frustrated with the FAILED Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition and please let’s use a legal strategy that is not “recipe for disaster”.
Thank you-Noel M. Soria, retiree from Virginia Beach, VA.
PS.
Dear Chairman Larry Cabrera: It is not that I don’t trust anymore in the legislative process, it is mostly the reason why failure after failure and ruined the financial integrity of the Fund. It is high time, Mr. Chairman, to change course and utilize legal strategy fitted to uniquely overcome the odds. I take this matter personally, Mr. Chairman, inaction is no longer be tolerated because the retirees’ are already sick and tired of using the Fund for too much influence of politicking. I should say, enough is enough and it’s time to incline on a solid legal strategy to enforce the $300+ million judgment in the federal court thru the Roe/Doe petition. I don’t mean to put you on the spot and if I did, I apologize to you Mr. Chairman. For the sake of the retirees, we will all RALLY BEHIND THE ROE/DOE petition.
With high respect to you Mr. Chairman, Thank you-Noel M. Soria, Virginia Beach, VA.

Dear Mr Cabrera,
What Mr Soria is begging you to do is the only chance the RF will ever have.
Anyone that does at least listen to him is an enemy of the fund and an ally of the rouge Administraton.
Hard to know who they are? One way to know is if they do not agree with sincere wisdom. Sincere wisdom tells us Mr Soria is right on the MONEY.
There will be not local solution. That should be perfectly obvious to any one with an IQ over 70. How many more millions will we sit back and allow the Administration and the Fund Managers and Fund Attorneys throw away before we accept the help we need. Federal Intervention.
What is happening in Saipan is criminal. Sooner or later it will be inthe Federal Courts, weather it is individuals for their crimes, or a Receivership for the Fund, or both!
Only a Federal Judge will can do what the Retirees and the Fund needs to survive. All the rest is BS and you must have figured that out already.
Federal Intervention will happen one way or the other. It will come as a Federal Recievership, or criminal prosecution, or further humiliation of NMI Officials for stuff like Ch 11 Bankruptcy. That was never a possibility. It was foolish ill-directed people making a desperate attempt to find a way to aviod financial responsibility. An attempt to avoid Fed Receivership via Ch 11 Bankruptcy. Pure waste of money!. Absolute stupid advice from the lawyers responsible for protecting the Fund. We paid them to throw hundreds of thousands of our money away trying to avoid Fed Recievership. They are more interested in CYA than in correct behavior. Fed Reciever will force the NMI to come clean. These people obviously represent the administration, not the Retirees who are paying their salaries. They want to aviod the humiliation that a Federal Judge will throw at them and they want to find a way to keep their JOBS. The fund is not for ‘their jobs’ it is for the Retires. Lets let nature take it proper course.
Do what is right for Gods sake.
No more ferry dust please.

Response to Mr Soria’s last letter to Mr Larry Cabrara
I sincerely wonder if any one but myself and Mr Soria ever read this Blog?
I hope all retires will participate. Five people can not do this alone. For God’s sake and your own, get off your duffs and participate in your own salvation.
Don’t wait untill someone says, “I told you so”. You are being told “so” right now. Support the effort to effect a Federal Recievership. It is the correct thing to do if we sincerely want to continue to get our Pensions!
I want my Pension. I paid for it! So did you!
I am willing to DIE fighting for what is rightfully mine and being stolen right before my eyes.
Wake up brothers and sisters. We have Gansters in Politics and Law Breakers making the Rules. Keeping your mouth shut is stupid and foolish and will only let the criminals have their way and YOUR MONEY!

The Truth!
It has been real difficult for me to watch so many people going to such lengths to avoid the truth.
It has to stop.
Is everyone in Saipan afraid of reality?
The reality is the RF has been looted by a rouge Administration with little resistance by the legislature. Most amazing is that even the people that stand to loose their Pensions and their Dignity just sit back and wait to see what will be done to them next.
It is obvious that no body employed by the Fund has shown the slightest interest in finding a real solution. Yet they willing to throw hundreds of thousands of your dollars to the DOGS to avoid Federal Intervention. Federal Intervention is inevidable! One way or the other. Let us just make it happen before they throw all your money away to protect themselves!
Wake up! Please. Good advice is here. Listen and d what needs to be done. For my sake, your sake and for Gods sake.

Amen!! I agree with every word written above! Great common sense! They are right on the money. Our only hope is Federal intervention. The Federal Court is the only one that can save us!
Naturally, the RF Board of Trustees has been, and is still against any type of Federal intervention, because the Governor is against Federal intervention. If the RF Board of Trustees had the best interests of the Fund members, as their first priority, they would have jumped to join the Roe/Doe case over a year ago! Ron Mandell
Dear Ron Mendell,
Thank God someone is listening. I sort of hate having to fight for something that I paid for and that was promised to me as part of my employment.
Ron we need folks like you and other Retirees that can write to do as much writing as you can. Write to News Editors, US Congress, Insular Affairs. Hell, Obama! But write!
I am waiting for an email address for Insular Affairs and I plan to rattle their cage. They likely have some idea what is going on here but I doubt they have folowed this blog. They need to get an ear full!.
Stay active and thanks for your reply.
